I am so happy to be teaching for Cincilingua because I believe it is the most enjoyable way to learn a language. We converse and correct the student’s errors as we go along. Grammar is taught in a conversational way. There is a constant dialogue, not one-way lectures, so the student remains engaged and USES the new language. It is also fascinating to learn about each other’s culture, the history of our respective countries, shared interests, etc.
Because the student is using the new language, his or her retention is better. They begin to think in the new language. This way, they do not lose time trying to translate mentally.
Some students feel challenged by the absence of translation, but as they progress they appreciate the power they are gaining to think and converse in the target language like a native!
