A very important part in improving your English is to increase your vocabulary. The English language has more words than any other language. But don’t let that discourage you! When you study through Cincilingua, we will teach you the 600 most commonly used verbs, as well as the most frequently used irregular verbs. We will also provide language tools to help you with vocabulary in your specific occupation.
Equally as important, having conversations with your teacher will greatly improve your everyday vocabulary. You will have the freedom to ask your teacher to explain a word that he or she used. Also, when you are in conversation with your teacher and cannot think of a word you need in order to get your point across, he or she can coach you through good word choices. Using words in context, and being able to ask for clarification, is an excellent way to improve your vocabulary.
Along with workbooks, reading with your teacher is another sure way to increase your vocabulary. Reading will expose you to new words in different contexts, helping you absorb new terms on a deeper level.
