Starting August 1, 2022 we will begin to use a new schedule that will give students MORE class time. Students will have the focused morning class that will take place in the breakfast area of the hotel from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and then there will be a 30 minute break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM – students will be able to eat their lunch or do whatever they want to do during that time. From 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM the student will have the focused afternoon class/excursion as they chose. This new schedule will use all 7 hours of the day for class and the lunch time will not be part of the 7 hours. This will give students more time to really focus on learning and if they choose to go on an excursion in the afternoon they will have more time to spend at the destination.
We also have more excursion destinations to choose from. You will find the excursion options on the 2 lists (Monday – Thursday excursion list/Friday excursion list).
During the 30 minute lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM we are recommending the following options for students to eat their lunch:
- Order food from a nearby restaurant to be delivered to the hotel at 12:00 PM by UberEats
- Buy food at the grocery store to prepare their lunch in their hotel room
- Place a take-out order from a restaurant that is only a few minutes away from the hotel that they can walk to – pick up the food and still have plenty of time to eat.
We are certain that students will be very happy with this new schedule that give them more class time.
