Wonder

The word “wonder” has two principal meanings.  As a regular verb, it means to have questions or to be curious about someone or something.  For example, I wonder if it will rain today.  The people wondered who would win the gold medal.

Wonder as a noun or name refers to someone or something that is amazing, spectacular or astonishing.  For example, the Grand Canyon is considered one of the natural wonders of the world.  Albert Einstein was a wonder in the field of science.

Wondrous and Wonderful are adjective forms of the word.  Examples:  “a wondrous sight”; “a wonderful person.”
