Right now the city is full of excitement because the Cincinnati Bengals – our NFL team is going to the Super Bowl. If you are not familiar with the sport of American Football – The Super Bowl is like the World Cup for Soccer – the final championship game with the best two NFL teams. Throughout the history of CINCILINGUA, I can remember different students that came to study with us so that they would be in the USA and easily be able to fly to attend the Super Bowl.
In addition to the NFL team, we also have the Cincinnati Reds Major League Baseball team, the Cyclones Ice Hockey team that is a member of the East Coast Hockey League, FC Cincinnati Soccer Club, as well as many College football and basketball teams in the area. All year long you can find sporting events to attend.
Many students have studied with us in the month of August so that they would be here to attend the Western & Southern Tennis Open in Mason, Ohio – just about 15 minutes away from the hotel students stay in.
